Re: Shinn 2016 Thread- the new spring release boards

Quick question again about the Jackson,

Just saw the assembly video on vimeo, do the mounting hardware (t nuts) for the trim-track come with the board? I'll be mounting a different foil.

Cheers.
Steve.

Nice, I hoped jackson would be zeeko compatible :), I have this years foil which spans 85mm and 90mm widths on the plate.

Re: kite bars

I use ozone too and i prefer the pu covered depower line. I think the options that have this with a stopper ball are the airush smart bar and the latest rrd global bar.

Might try buy a spare rrd stopper to see if it fits my ozone race bar.

Re: Shinn 2016 Thread- the new spring release boards

Hi Mike,

Whats the timeline for details on the spring collection?

The Jackson foil board has my attention, looking for specs on the trim track.

Cheers.
Stephen.

Re: Foil Boards

Thats a nice setup Sliick, i really like the idea of the short masts for the first sessions/ hours.
I'm going to try get slingshot foot hooks to protect my ankles when the inevitable happens.

It will be tricky but worth it.

Re: Foil Boards

I'll be starting out learning this season on a zeeko foil, once i get a deck sorted out. Looking forward to crashing a lot, will be using a full length mast.

Going to be directionals only season for me once spring arrives.

NP Harnesses/spreaders

Hi guys, Im using a 5 year old pyro with a homemade rope slider and its getting uncomfortable on those 3+ hour sessions. Looking to buy a new harness, and the NP stuff has caught my eye. I prefer lots of support in the harness so i'm looking at the 3d/bomb, anyone tried one in particular with the pi...

Re: Ride Engine harnesses - any problems?

Slider or hook? They recommend the 10" bar mostly. I've read feedback saying the medium harness with the 8" is somewhat of an irregularity for their fit. Have a feel of your lower back/spine shape and compare it to the dish in the back, as John says it may not fit your body. It's "averaged" from all...

Re: Last two weeks in June...Scotland ?

I definitely find that july/august can have a lack of wind, apart from a sneaky easterly seabreeze sometimes. If kiting is a must then maybe somewhere thermal would be more suitable. However there is a great community for wildcamping moho 's on FB and if your open to surf/sup too then it would be pr...

It could be about to get a whole lot easier to get hands on a zeeko foil in the near future. 8)

Re: Foil Boards

If it's as cost effective as the dollar pricing it can't be a bad introduction if you have zero experience like i do. $168 for and additional 3 short mast lengths (15" 24" and 30") over the stock 35". Well worth an import if they are over priced here.

There's such a wealth of choice in alu-foils now.
