OMG, RIP poor bloke, sounds horrific, out on 15m in that! PLEASE be very careful at Hillhead. A polite but serious warning. I used to go there a fair bit and it's really NOT for beginners. Hey did you get this sorted out and give it a go? You've got to! Do you surf or sup or anything?
