Re: King Of The Air Live stream! Point for discussion?

Cheers Tony! I've since had some more info, "apparently" 26,000 people tuned into the live stream on the 1st day, which is a pretty big number. However, the Dirty Habits live stream that was set up on the Saturday off the back of that article which included full video instructions on how to do a liv...

Re: iksurf mag wave classic and big air comp

Great video Marc, glad it stopped when it did, was getting worried about what evidence there might be in that footage. We definitely didn't have a huge party in a very small chalet and it was all very sensible.

Glad everyone enjoyed it!

Cheers

Rou (And yes I was legless at the party)

Wave Classic Next Week

As some of you may or may not know the BKSA cancelled the Wavemasters at very short notice, we've been busy putting together an event and I'm sorry that I neglected to post it here. The magazines post yesterday drew me back to the forum after a reasonable time away... Anyway we have a bunch of excel...

Re: Kite Magazines do you read any?

Cheers for the thumbs up (generally) on the mag. I hear your comments regarding reading about some pro riders holiday, it's depressing and frankly not what I want to read either... In fact our recent Tahiti article was rewritten by myself so it would be more of a travel guide that should prove usefu...

Re: A Plea To Experienced Camber Kitersurfers

If everyone spread out a bit launching wouldn't be an issue, it's the inherent bunching and always always cruising right up to the beach to slide turn regardless of who is on their way out that gets me... Either way there are too many transient kiters at Camber to ever really enforce anything, which...

A Plea To Experienced Camber Kitersurfers

It's getting busy down there and a lot of you are coming out of the wood work... Do you think for a minute you could consider turning round in water that isn't an inch deep? I know you need to impress the kids with buckets and spades, and the odd fat bird eating an ice cream, but I have walked out t...

Re: Something changed with Iksurfmag online?

Hi Readers! Sorry about that, we did a huge upgrade just after issue 45 with all new technology behind the scenes that we had been working on for some time. It makes it far more enjoyable on a mobile device and in fact faster and better all round. The updates of course meant that some old browsers c...

Re: Ikitesurfmag & sexist

I almost feel there is no need to defend myself, the kind folks here who know more about myself and the mag have done just that... But seeing as this is a hot topic and the OP hasn't responded yet I will make a comment or two... Firstly the complaint was made to us in a private message form on FB, s...

Re: Bandit six

Great that you like the Bandit Six so much Colin, odd that someone would want to buy up a load of old stock and then use that kite until the end of time. Innovation can be an exciting thing, a lot of people fear change I guess. If you have the cash to do that why not... I know Toby Brauer has a stas...

Re: how much kit have you owned?

Started kiting in 2001, started testing in 2004, started IKSURFMAG with proper records in November 2006... Since November 2006 I have ridden 142 different kites... And 84 different boards... Before that at Kitesurf UK there was a lot of testing, and previous to my role as a mag editor I did have rat...

Re: How Many UK Kiteboarders are there?

Was going to mention the FB numbers too, but didn't have them to hand, you'd be surprised about the States, like the UK there are pockets of concentration. The European market is the biggest in the world by a long way, but then we have France, Spain and Germany plus ourselves adding to those figures!
