Thanks for the reply and for the offer of materials info. 10 to 20 degrees off a beam reach is about as low as I can get (in flat water) at my kiting location when the wind kicks up. What is considered the ideal angle for max speed with winds of 20-25?

I'd like to build a twin tip speed board. No intention of competing, I'd just like to kite fast under control in 4 inch chop. What is the recommended rocker for a twin tip speed board? What kind of board speed can be obtained on a twin tip speed board in 20-25 while bearing off 10-15 degrees? Thanks...
