Steve Sinnhuber runs learntokitesurf.co.uk he uses RRD kites for his school and was telling me about meeting with the rep several times earlier this summer, perhaps you could find him on facebook and ask him.

Also, tbh, seems a little expensive, no? Quite a few of the locals round here ride with music and they all use that cheap speedo swimming mp3 player, seems to do quite well.
