Question to fellow Southampton / Solent kiters

Hello kiters, I've been kiting for few years now and I like to think that I know what I'm doing on (or in) the water with my kite. I will be spending alot more time in Southampton so I wondered if a fellow Solent kiters can be kind enough to guide me to the right direction (especially where DEFINITE...

Torn / ripped boot liner.

Hello boot riders, One quick question. What do you do when your boot liner is all torn up and ripped from regular use, especially the heel end? Re: Kite Bags (the ones they come in)

Switch kite has two types of bags that you can buy separately. One is the "original" bag €24.42 and the other "universal" bag €36.00 (Note: EURO, not GBP). They both fit your description of ideal kite bag! Original bag: http://switchkites.invernotrading.netdna-cdn.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/i...

Re: Bindings and kiteboard - how to choose?

This is perfect, thanks very much every one for your comments. Very useful points. Bri - that was exactly the concern I had. Whack any pair of boots on my board and few sessions later, snap. I emailed the maker, but I think I know what the response would be. The board is too thin and flexible. Antho...

Re: Bindings and kiteboard - how to choose?

Thanks very much Tone, I've learnt from Google homework that yes, wakeboards have more rocker. Advantage of more rocker is softer landing. Downside is lower swing ratio and planning, which means harder to get upwind and kite needs more power to get going in comparison to a flatter board. I also unde...

Bindings and kiteboard - how to choose?

Hello kitesurfers, I'm just curious on having a plunge into wake style kiting. I would like some basic information on how to go about with choosing a set of boots and a board appropriate for bindings. Little bit of Google search tells me that it's not as simple as buying a pair of boots (is there a ...

Where can I get mini tuttle fins?

Hello kiters, I have NSP board and I'm looking for a thruster set that will fit mini tuttle fin box. I currently have a set of old Slingshot carbon fins and they are wearing out so I need to find a new set sooner or later. I know there is "FCS adapter" to use FCS fins, but the adapter is rather usel...

Re: SPAM TEXTS that automatically charge you!

I never respond to spam texts, such as PPI, whiplash, or compensation; I don't text back with "STOP" or reply at all. I know that they would "stop" that particular spam, but they would also know that my number is "working" so they will continue to shower with other spam messages. So I never do anyth...

SPAM TEXTS that automatically charge you!

Hello kiters, Just a heads up, check your recent mobile phone bills if you have received any form of SPAM text. I checked mine just now and I noticed that I was charged £2.50 for each texts from 85878!! This is without me replying "STOP" or taking any action; the number somehow has a way to charge y...

Re: 12m/9m vs. 12m/10m kite quivers

I have 7m & 11m "all round kite" quiver. Official "wind range" is 13-24kts on 11m and 25+kts on 7m. My boards are twin tip (134 x 39cm with bit of a rocker) and surfboard (NSP 5'10"). I know what you mean about between quiver wind; bit too much on 11m but 7m doesn't quite cut the mustard (well it ne...
