Re: best place to stay in or near Costa Calma

I wore a 3m wetsuit which was fine, you'd be good still in a shorty or could even brave boardshorts and rash vest. Rescue should be €50 annually, due to some confusion on the day we agreed €20 as a one off. We kited flag beach, el cotillo, el cotillo lagoons (read a lot before i went that these were...

Re: best place to stay in or near Costa Calma

hi, cant help you with accommodation but just got back from fuerte and had a great week, wind everyday. We had a amazing day down at Matas Bay near Costa Calma, offshore wind but with a rescue jetski, like kitesurfing on a lake it was so flat. They seemed to run lesson packages as well so don't know...

Re: North West downwinder

Sound cheers. I'll look into the options, finishing at lytham would mean not crossing the estuary which will be the toughest part potentially.

North West downwinder

Hi all,

Long shot but has anyone attempted a downwinder from Blackpool way to Ainsdale / formby?? Just interested to hear anyone else's experience or advice. I'd post this in the north west forum but doesn't look like many people look in there!
Cheers
Dave

Re: Kite gear with Ryanair

Been twice to malaga to kite in tarifa, just got back from one. Can be pricey but you just need to be realistic i guess. First time i just booked suitcase and got kite, bar, harness and wetsuit in and hired board there. From kite obsession it was €10 a day...no brainer. Lsst time went with mates so ...

Re: Anyone in lutterworth area

Aah sound. Yeah I should have put 2 & 2 together there. No worries, be a couple of weeks realistically for me as well, just had 5 day in tarifa and kit has come home bit battered so few repairs to sort! Amazing time though, well worth it. Catch you laters.

Re: How much does 3 kites and board weigh?

Just back from trip to tarifa and conil. Flew ryanair frock Manchester to Malaga. Takes tactical planning but can be done! 3 of us went so got £100 20KG sports bag for all 3 boards, harnesses and wetsuits. We each had a checked bag (15kg) £30 return which had 2 vacuum packed kites, and bars lines et...
