Re: new crazyfly board

It's just your technique, a smaller board will be easier to hold an edge when you've sussed it, just dig those heels in! I use a 136x44 Monk and am 16 stone and it's perfect for me.

Re: I'm amazed.....

Don't just judge on kite size, I'm at least 100kgs and a 9m is fine for my smallest kite. If it's too windy for a 9m I don't want to go out!

Re: Naish UK...where are you ?

It's a shame about Naish harnesses being so hard to get hold of. I used to use them for years until they'd worn out and then find them really hard to replace.

Re: Big changes in the industry..

Make the gear cheaper, Kitesurfing is in danger of disappearing up it's own arse if the only people who can afford new gear are those who are on mega shop deals.

It's why the premium is peanuts, I doubt there has been a major claim or the premiums would shoot up.

I guess they invented 'Hadlow' as a description of kite characteristic too!
And that would be what? To sit on the shop shelf unsold all year, then go on sale for fifty percent?

No, that's just what Flexifoils do.

Re: CBK Hunstanton Kitesurf Club

So it's started, a person has asked if they need to be a member of CBK to Kitesurf at Hunstanton. The sooner they leave the better.

Re: 12m/9m vs. 12m/10m kite quivers

For years I always had a 12m and 9m quiver just recently changed to a 10m and 14m combo with still keeping an old 7m for the extreme days works well and gives me a good range when only taking 2 kites on my hols. What kites do you fly? My biggest kite is a 13m C4 and I use almost all of the time, my...

Re: CBK Hunstanton Kitesurf Club

I'll carry this on too, every time I'm in Hunstanton the CBK shop is shut and there is no beach Marshall hanging around the beach. So what's the plan then for CBK members? Drive to Hayling because if they are on their own and everybody else is on the water they aren't allowed to self launch. There's...

Re: tough guys only !

I had a 25m V4, it pulled like a truck and if it crashed it was a swim in job. It was so slow through the air it was nearly impossible to crash.

Re: CBK Hunstanton Kitesurf Club

I think the fact that you started a "club" at Hunstanton shows how little you know of the area, the facilities and the people that ride there. complete and utter BS. Ive been Kitesurfing the whole Norfolk coastline for the past 6 years +. Because I do not get involved too much with people that choo...

Re: Slingshot - TKC Press release

About time! Took those folks over the pond awhile to realise they weren't being well represented. At least the new distributors doesn't have a high standard to overcome. :) I thought they were well represented, if you didn't get GRFs humour then that's your fault. You never saw Slingshot kites bein...
