Re: Surfmobile for Sale

As I said priced to sell - to save you time looking a standard commercial van in this condition would be around £4 750.00. 0ver £2k of fittings alone on top of this - the man hours to complete the job are mine and not Inc, but we're in the region of 50 hours. Rather it go to a Kitesurfer than eBay. ...

Re: Cleethorpes

If you're in Hull you want to be looking at the Brid thread - next one down on the NE East page. Works from N to S, but the beach can be covered at HT so launching and landing is down to times. Lots of hazards on the beach (concrete Pill Boxes etc) Gets cold properly Nov to March, but if you're used...

RNLI & BKSA

Not wanting to hijack the current thread with the RNLI topic, thought I'd put this up. Do the BKSA & RNLI have any forged links that means the charity gets some financial support from the BKSA? I honestly don't know if this happens and would be interested to see if it did. Moving beyond that point -...

Re: RNLI - How can we help?

I don't this to be hi-jacked - but I disagree. We ALL potentially need the RNLI at some point if kitesurfing and I feel the main body of the sport should be looking to help a well deserving cause.

Anyhow - as I said, lets keep it on topic.

Re: RNLI - How can we help?

Hi Isla I wrote this on the last thread: ''Maybe the BKSA could look at the membership fee being broken down to inc a contribution to a much needed cause?'' Don't know if any contact was/has been made towards you but if not I strongly feel it should. Plenty of BKSA 'lurkers'' on here - over to them?...

Re: Kitesurfing after broken leg

Don't wait for the NHS Physio - it will be too late by then.

Go private and get some treatment to aid recovery of tendons and muscle waste.

I did and it really helped recovery time.

Good luck

Re: underwater kinnetics knife

It's not so much the knife, more the scabbard and how that is attached to you / your kit. Any situation that dictates you are in need of the blade means you are also in a near panic to total panic and access and ease of use is primary. The Trigger Knife I posted had a really safe scabbard and only a...
