Lost Cabrinha Tronic - Pembrey

Lost my 2014 Cabrinha Tronic off of Pembrey on Sunday.
Black, Blue and Yellow. Looks like this: http://www.kiteworldmag.com/gear/cabrin ... -137-2014/

If it washes up, please let me know. Thanks.

Torches FFS not shining much light into the darkness that's clouding your good kite judgement really are they? Hah, when you find a kite that flies exactly the way you want, why would you then chase after the next new thing? Last year's kite is suddenly shite, but we nailed it this year. Back in th...

Re: This Forum... what's happened? It's like no ones home. Also the Core GTS4 any good?

Still being a pikey and flying my 2007 Torches. Although due to work/kids I rarely kite anymore.....do a lot more mountain biking these days, less weather dependent. Does that mean you've stopped hoarding the '07 Torches? Was a time that it felt like I got pipped at the post every time an '07 came ...

Re: Dakine Nitro Shorts

That link is for the 2013 shorts.. so the question probably still stands ;)

I've worn them for years (same pair for over 5 years!), and they've survived plenty of different waist sizes, just used a larger spreader as the years have progressed..

Re: Kite repair shops

Can't recommend Jonnie Eisler enough. Have fixed a couple through him, great job on the repairs, service and extremely reasonably priced too. Even took the trouble to look over my old trusty kite after I ripped it front to back, and strengthened a couple of spots that were looking weak. http://www.j...

Re: Board damage

Cheers for all the feedback. Sorry, camera is crap on my phone! It doesn't look to have gone too deep (down to wood) other than around the physical holes, and seeing as this is a toeside tip, the board surely isn't a complete write off. Have fixed some fairly big dings on my crappy old surfboard bef...

Board damage

Managed to rip my fin right through the board in shallow water. This is on a 2008 Nobile 555. What are my options? The physical board looks to have taken some damage and split a couple of layers. The split is running too far in the direction of the tip for my liking. Not broken a kite board before, ...

Re: South Wales in a SW

Bit late to this, sorry, but for reference.. Pembrey is a great spot, works well in pretty much anything with West in it. North Westerly will see some good swell. Works in a South / South-Easterly, but can be lumpy as shadowed by the Gower - you're probably better of heading somewhere along there an...

Re: naish torch

presuming you tried simply shortening the front lines at the bar?

I have an '07 12 and '08 12 and have to fly the 08 one knot shorter at the bar otherwise it flies like a dog.
Might check pigtail lengths as per JGTRs suggestion..

Re: Any hoarders??

Not as bad as some by the looks, but also have plenty of Torches and Naish bars. Any hoarders have an S1 strut for a 08 12m?! It's the old kit such as the Geurilla, SkyTiger and Pitbull that I should just get rid of, but never quite get round to. And if we are talking cars and stuff - I have minis i...

PD3/4 vs Torch

Anyone flown these back to back? switched from one to the other? How do they compare? Took me years to find a kite I truly love to fly, but I can only afford to buy second hand and good condition torches are becoming fairly hard to come by at a decent price point. Have liked the look of the PD3 / PD...

Re: For those that don't like kiting in the rain.

Have to say I love setting up in the rain.. warm and cosy in my wetsuit whilst every other bugger is running around trying not to get wet.
But yeah, rain = gusty.

Also, actually looking at the site, doesn't it only show me what happened in the past unless I go "pro"

Re: DESIGN IDEAS : The self-launch kite pole

I must be wrong if you've been launching without sliding your Torches, I know the method you use very well as I used to do it on my Waroos as it reduces the amount if sliding you have to do, I didn't think it would work on Torch. Torches have a weak spot in the leading edge so I try to avoid any sl...
