Re: Leg rashguard / sun block

I learnt my lesson(again) in 2002 in Boracay. From zero tan to second day there and wether or not to be medivac. If i am going somewhere brutally sunny and I have no tan I now have a few Pairs of arcteryx trousers that dry in about 2 minutes, super comfy, bomb and reef Proof and get into most bars/r...

Re: Gambia Help Please!!!

Someone I know got back from 10 days there on the 17th last month...reckoned it was perfectly kiteable every day. Also mentioned the currents but had no problems swimming with flippers. None of the locals would let my friend out of their sight due to not wanting any bad press that may in any way aff...

I use these in varying thickness and can recommend them.

Re: Anyone using the Dynabar or

Dunno, but I did have to drop down a harness size to allow for the extra bar width.
Some might say go for the shorter bar if it is still being made. I thought that route
Defeated the object somewhat.

Re: Kitesurfer rescued in aberdeenshire

Yup, Everything. However, I think I will leave it to the kitesurfer in question to explain it himself. but heres a quote of his last words before the high drama "Hey, have you ever gone beyond the cliffs and seen the great view of Slains Castle?" "yes, by boat" I replied! haahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Re: Anyone using the Dynabar or

Reckon the PTFE roller is my creation. Well-done. I couldn't go back to a fixed bar. Just way more comfortable. Well-done the Germans. Well thanks. Given the ones supplied lasted a couple of hours for me it is no surprise folk have been trying everything to find something more suitable. £7 odd for ...

Re: Anyone using the Dynabar or

I wont change from a Dynabar unless something better comes out for me.

Reckon the PTFE roller is my creation. It wears but is much much more durable than the ones supplied.

Brass is also pretty good.

Re: Ear infections / sewage

You could try an alternative route. I have used it for years for different circumstances. Use a weak solution of acetic acid in the ear ie. Domeboro Otic. 5 minutes each ear before going out. This is a preventative. For cure one of the best is Gentisone and it takes a few days to cure. There is a ne...
