Re: Experience with Ion3?

I believe the problem is the distance between the back lines and the rear attachment point of the bridle is to large.(This is also why they have near perfect bar pressure). The leading edge doesn't fold in the middle but at the ends. Its only a problem if your crazy powered or a heavy rider.

Re: Experience with Ion3?

Re: Please help with what kit I should buy next

Maybe think about buying a 12m and a 7m to go with your 9m. You girl can go on the kite size down from you then, and if your out on the 7m, you'll not want her out  . Nobile use to do a board selector on its web site, is really usefull if your not sure. Wouldn't recommend anything under a 1...

Re: Best winter wetsuit for Scottish winter fun ?

Accessories Baby! I think good booties (atan) hood and gloves are more/as important as a good suit. When your feet are cold you can do yourself a bit of damage. Also thermal rashys if snowing :-D

Re: Q for those who have been to Dahkla

Dont want to put my neck out to much, but i really dont think you'll have any problems. I fly down there regularly, (from amsterdam) and see people taking all sizes of bags with them. See alot of people taking a kite as hand luggage with bars and harness, i think to save on wieght. Ask your self how...

Re: Strapped v's Unstrapped - Style & Skill

i think you summed it up pritty well. Defo strapless wins hand down for style. Its more flowing and smooth. With the likes of Shinn and Wilson both ripping stapless coming from different backgrounds(not to mention most of the famous watermen in kiting), I would say it the road most want to progress ...

Re: Boat launching

a small amount of reverse is needed , the driver reveses the boat so it is cross wind of the rider and then keeps the boat in a gentle reverse. you can also use the boat to get tangles out of lines by attaching the chicken loop to the front of the boat, gently reversing . Do you mean astern??? Bloo...
