Re: Best Kiteboarding and Best UK?????

Just got my first 2019 kites in from Peter and the boys. They're rock solid looking. Really surprised at the Process board, that's complete package at sensible old school money.

Re: Best Kiteboarding and Best UK?????

There's no UK rep at the minute, I was chatting to Seb about it last week and the role is advertised, it would make a decent 2nd tier account for anyone who's in the industry and has a couple of clients already. The margin base and expenses package are competitive. I did it myself in the early days ...

Re: Yet another rider leaves Slingshot.

James, you'd have to ask him why he's competing on his Fuels. I'd expect it's because he's had the grand total of one afternoon riding the GP. Hardly enough time to get dialled in for Kitesurfing's most extreme big-air competition. Now I'm sure that at the level you ride one afternoon is all it take...

You don't have to try and buy it when it comes knocking on your door asking to be part of what you have going on!

Re: Guess the name of our new international rider..

You don't judge the strength of a brand by the riders who have left the team, but by the riders who join the team. There's always another brand and the grass can always be greener. It's just like any sport, people move around for better deals, more brand commitment, better exposure and so forth. Som...

Re: Any one using the new 2013 Best bar and line set up..??

Yes, obviously I use them. The new bars are good, very good in fact. Like the 2012 bar all the parts are moulded, all the parts are replaceable should you ever.... It does exactly what it says on the tin, comfy, durable as hell. Lowest release pressure of any bar tested so far by the Frenchies (Afno...

Re: All thing being equal - SLE or C for Boost and hang time

IME it depends how overpowered that you ride. What really makes for a good jumping kite is one that has a large difference between full power and full depower, and how quickly you can pull between these two states. It also has to be a kite that won't back stall when you pull in hard otherwise you ch...

Re: Face full of slider- The Lisbon project

Sam isn't usually the luckiest guys with injury; he tore off the first joint of his 'bird' finger in 2011 doing a handlepass with another brand's bar. This time he actually escaped largely unhurt. He landed flat on his chest and 'just' touched his chin on the rail. There could have been a whole of t...
