Re: the poo moment

Sounds like you've got to grips with it but just go with kite don't set your sights on landing in a certain direction/spot because it never happens,if you find yourself coming down to fast ie you went up in a gust coming down in a lull I'd practice down loops or work the kite left to right,or direct...

Re: 7Bft Kitehouse, Soma Bay - Air Hoses?

Don't leave your kites pumped in the sun as the valves peel off,you probably know this but I learnt the hard way Also get a good rash vest factor 50 minimal, get some good sun cream as it washes off your ankles in no time Keep hydrated,I messed up with that also Don't eat the salad @shits.com Take dy...

Re: Starkites Arawak V's North Vegas Review

Great review Having flown a good range of kites and then sticking with Vegas for 2 years The way to describe them is explosive when you send them but a fluffy forgiving kite when you want to play The 8m is my favourite go out in 20-24 knts and you feel underpowered till you send it :0 North bars are...

Re: Riding waves and what to do with the kite

A lot of it is in the wind direction as well But I don't bother with the surfboard unless it's above 25knts As for kite you need it as light as possible, sits back in the window abit so it's always steerable and you don't overtake it as you drop into the wave Brand pimp I'm using neo's for waves I ha...

1400 bucks and I bet it's the worst board on the water ........... Ooooooo but it's light ???? Has weight ever been a issue when your using kites to get you in the air

Re: North 5th Element leash attachment?

The only time I use the full depower option is when it's 40knts plus in waves
The cock ring works really well ...... As overs said take time to trim your kite
1 to eliminate the kite folding up in light wind 2 being too much in the window, generating too much pull giving you 0 confidence to unhook

Re: cabrinha drifters or North Neos

If your going neo I'd go 5m and 7m both kites will get you out on a surfboard from 20knts and 5m take over from 30 up too 50 with a trim and a smaller surfboard Amazing kites I think unhook it and it will park niceley so you can concentrate on the wave Cab drifter is a also a great kite but I don't ...

Re: snowkite jump that puts the jessie richman stunt to sham

The amount of regs on paragliding is massive and there all there for very good reason This dosnt impress me He's basically a dangerous paraglider ..... Putting him and others at risk Just imagine if he snapped the chicken hook off his harness and lost the means to control kites power Or bird strike ...

Re: Big winds and small kites?
