Re: Self Taught Board work

Re: where frontlines split...

I fly 06 Rhino's on a home rigged airush bar that dosnt use the Y split. The middle lines just run from the micky mouse swivel up to the kite and the 5th line is trimmed via a clam cleat bolted to a takoon chicken loop. 90% of the time the 5th has loads of slack in it, it only really gets used when ...

Re: Kitesurfing accident at jurys gap

I was one of the guys helping out and giving first aid. We had to have a chat to the ambulance guys and they said that he should be ok. We also had a good chat with the coastguard and Rob the coastal control officer and voiced our concerns over response times etc. They said its a 40 min response fo...

Re: Kitesurfers at Camber Sands

To be honest fella....i think this is a battle that you, nor anybody will be able to resolve. Kites are in the restricted zone...and people will generally put them where ever they want Thats OK mate me and all my fishing buddy's will come down and cast our bait out 200ft! The flip side to your coin ...

When you stand on top of the shingle bank looking out to sea, look to your right and you will see a row of houses backing onto the sea. The first house is where the kite zone ends.

Re: Show me your helmets

i can understand not wearing one if its a cost thing With the amount the gear we fly and ride costs, a few quid more cant be that hard to find! Especially after the last two days at camber! Yesterday some fella gut a huge cut in his head from a fin on his board, and today I spent over an hour with ...

Kitesurfers at Camber Sands

Lots of kite surfers are setting up out side the setup Zone and leaving the kites lying in the middle of the beach! Not only is this against the beach rules set down to the kiters by the council and a great way to get every one banned, its making life hell for any land based kiting! So if your going...

Hi Nath, now I'm no expert so this is just my opinion. Just patch them with repair tape on both sides and iron them on a low setting with grease proof paper over the kite. Ive had my first LEI for about 6 weeks now and managed to dump it on top of the groins at the beach, well when I say dumped it. ...

Hi, Im a landboarder that uses an lei. I can see the argument from most sides, the one that gets me is running over lines  if your gonna leave them laying across the beach they will get run over, be them a kitesufer or any land user. I fly at Camber or Greatstone (Blue/Red X4) and people alway...

I guess my gripe was that I put a post up asking for help and the only responce I got was, wrong kite etc etc. No help, no advice and who I guess is a mate GRF posting what felt like a pointless dig at me. I would have thought that some one telling you that a particular kite is not for u is good ad...

 No probs mate. After chating to you the other day I know we both talked about having fun but also being responsable. I know Ive got a kite that is going to kick my ass if I get it wrong, but also know my limits. I guess my gripe was that I put a post up asking for help and the only responce I...

Well say what you like about bows. But no matter which brand you go for Its a darn site better than a Newbie buying an X4 just because its £299. I'd say thats getting a tad on the irresponsible side. Ooooohh!! Get the hand bags out. How about a pm explaining why I should not have got the said kite,...

Hi Agelo, I came in to your shop the other day asking for a leash and told you about buying this kite because it was cheap. You warned me then that this kite is a beast. But you never recomended lessions to me at that point. Why? I may be a beginner with LEI's but I started kiting Aug 05 Starting wi...
