Re: Any West Wittering kitesurfers here

No one said paying would stop anything... What ensuring a code of conduct, some basics about when and what wind directions are forbidden and ensuring that people are insured does do Is stop the land owner (Hampshire county council) getting their asses sued for negligence. It was that or they just re...

Tricky

Love to see you tell the chap who died at Calshots wife or the people that held him till the paramedics arrived what you so eloquently signed off with..

Sometimes just sometimes there is a bigger picture than the one your ego inhabits. Sometimes rules/restrictions are there for a reason

Re: Any West Wittering kitesurfers here

It's a private estate that owns the land, consequently if you want to go and bugger about on what is essentially the estates back garden and use the facilities that they have there then you pay, if it's too much go somewhere else, if as many members down there feel it's a priced with paying to keep ...

Re: So who is the Fastest?

I got a certificate too, from Weymouth last year, turns out it wasn't worth the paper it was written on haha!

Good luck in France! How's the slalom board speed wise?

Re: Board recovery idea...

Sounds good loosen it just enough so one foot comes out and you then get horrific a spiral fracture to your lower leg or damage to your knee. Safe i. The knowledge that you can't kick the board off your trapped foot just before impact Wear them done up, that's how they were meant to be ridden But I ...

Re: Where are Best at in the UK?

Firstly I left the industry back in February last year I have no affiliation with any brand or shop, I ride two year old second hand kites and boards I have made myself. I am a customer. The only thing I did wrong was to win a competition that had allegedly been sponsored by Best. So if you think it...

Re: Where are Best at in the UK?

I have never felt strongly about best tbh, I have ridden their gear a few times and first time was a bit meh, next time a few years later it was much better, I met Shannon out in the BVIs a few years back and he was the antithesis of what the brand had become, he hated it and was looking for the exi...

Re: Hadlow goes to North Kiteboarding...

He will be on North for 2015 The kites in SA were a colaberation between the North kite designer and AH testing the water to see if they could build what he wanted, my guess is that the did and he now has to do a year/season on unbrabded kites so as to extricate himself from flexi on mutually agreea...

Re: Hadlow mk2 delamination

The Hadlow fundamentally is a great board, the fact that they seem incapable of building it correctly and won't stand up and be counted is another thing entirely. The most direct route you could take is to speak to Pete at Kitemare, he is the official flexi retailer and repair centre so IS well enou...

Re: Kiteracing

Think that last tangle on the bksa tour was maybe 2009/10 Slalom is far more likely with the mark rounding and tge compulsory down looping mixed fleets of directionsks and twin tips at low levels of experience won't be too good either With up wind down wind you are all headed the same way at the sta...

Re: Hadlow mk2 delamination

They could start by paying the kind of attention to detail that Colin did when he built boards if they really want to keep the ethos of the board true to his memory... Pretty sad that they seemingly can't fix the problems with what should be an utterly market leading product in Terms of construction...
