At my end of the World (Angola) it's beed dead for 12 weeks. Yesterday afternoon was only the third half decent day in the past three months. Should pick up in the next few weeks to a reliable 15kt sea breeze.

And have you forgotten about the week of 40 knot winds we had recently, in August! Agreed there haven't been many sea breezes this year but i've had plenty of sessions and downwinders. Got out last night for an hour and the next few days are looking good.

The wind last weekend was North East/East and remains so for this week. Fingers crossed it continues into the weekend.
Looking back over the years there have been many occasions where the wind has been perfect during the working week, only to find the wind to be either insufficient or blowing in the wrong direction at the weekend.:-(

Often seems like that with ideal conditions v work time:) finally managed to get out yesterday after 7 weeks of no kiting, winds were either piss poor or too strong, sprinkled with work getting in the way. Not to worry, 6 weeks off soon, and windy season picking up..summer is coming:D

We did the change over last night. Was awesome.

Bit tricky getting the alternator out but Tim managed quite well
