Hey all, first post but I've been reading the boards quite heavily the last few days.

So I've been out of the sport for about 7-8 years and decided it's high time I got back in to it so I've just bought a 4m Ozone Samurai II. Really excited about flying again, I used to have a couple of Blades, Radsails and had a 2m Bullet which was wicked in the higher winds.

I've always been into boarding/jumping/scudding etc but ive been wanting to get on to the water for a long time, though i never really got on very well with using bars rather than handles. If there's anyone about New Brighton this week, I'll probably be down there everyday this week from Tuesday as long as the weather holds up. Would be cool to meet up with others and maybe learn a few things or just have someone else to fly with. Nothing like flying with others to advance oneself i found.

Anyway, just shout! :)

Anyone? I've been down there the last two days, yesterday was fantastic! Was out for a couple hours just playing then the wind picked up about 4pm and the real fun started, my 4m had me getting dragged all over and some pretty good jumps, though the Sammy isn't the liftyest kite. Heading down again in a couple of hours, will be between Leasowe and Hoylake on the beach. Wind is supposed to really pick up for about 6pm.

Not many/ anyone flies land kites at New Brighton dude. Its just kitesurfing. Isn't the wind going to be blowing directly offshore today? Not sure you'll find anyone turning up for that. Next week's lookin' up though.

Still would be good to have a chat with any of the kite surfing lot, been thinking about getting into it for a while now and looking at buying an LEI next week. Yeah supposedly it is, but im less than 2 miles inland and 9 stories up and can feel it blowing in from the North, at least I'm pretty sure it is!
