Hi

Does anyone know of an accurate live weather feed for the blackpool area?

The closest one I can find is this: NOAA

But - with the NOAA one - maybe I'm reading it wrong - I can't see a display of anything after 5am or so - which seems a bit odd because it is recording the weather live - I'd have expected a far more recent/live reading to be available.

What is up with all this snow? If it continues to snow we might have to start selling snow kiting equipment! LOL, Lets hope that we can get a good southerly wind soon so we can get out on the water again. This northerly wind is FERKIN COLD!!!!! It is dry-suit weather at the moment and we list some awesome Ocean Rodeo d...ry-suits that will keep you warm and toasty through the winter months. We have an awesome weather widget on our site that lets you know the recommended kitesurfing spot of the day. Dream Big, Jump High!!!!!!!!

I usually check weather for Blackpool at http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=62125. The oil platform seems most accurate but it's also delayed a couple of hours.

Even here in the far SW it's been cold...seems nothing comes up the Gulf stream Nothing in of Swesterlies for 3 winters now. Gulf stream seems to have buggered off further south. We had great winds all summer , but up till two weeks ago we had had very little. Today W 30k plus & tomorrow , so good. But weather certainly not as it used to be. Even had snow right down to the Sea front , which is not very common in this part of the world.
