Best Kiteboarding and Best UK?????

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

So whats the deal with Best Kiteboarding and their UK representation these days?

I need some replacement parts for my 2014 RP bar. I here they are having a nightmare with warranty issues. A mate of mine has been waiting since November for replacement kites.

Anyone know of any shops or persons with contacts or supplies?

Cheers

Ross

Hey Ross

Rob might still deal with them but no actual reps in the UK now so I've been told.

There's no UK rep at the minute, I was chatting to Seb about it last week and the role is advertised, it would make a decent 2nd tier account for anyone who's in the industry and has a couple of clients already. The margin base and expenses package are competitive. I did it myself in the early days and it was always an easy sell, good gear, good prices, and when there's a rep, great warranty support.

Rossco, what parts do you need? I can probably shake the right tree for you.

It's a shame Best in the UK has been a mixed bag of recent years. I am a best rider ( by choice ) and I like their kit.
But the spares issue of recent has made me start to look at other options and what's out there to buy instead. It's interesting others have had issues with kit as they say but I have had from 2006 to 2014 kit and it's been very good. Snapped a couple of lines though pushing my jumps too much and a chicken loop go on me.. Usual depower ropes which are my current issue. it's all been good. Even at the last Kitesurfing Amarda event I was there with cash ready to buy new kit and ...... no Best set up.. :-/ so still on my 2014 kit.

I can't help but wonder what the Best UK team did wrong?

Looking at the Eleveight kites - new project of the former Best design team - and I can't help but notice no UK sales presence. Their (eleveight) promo vids look really good but it still seems nobody wants to pick up a relationship with them again.

Eleveight are just making there way in to the uk, I will have a demo this week of the rs and fs.
The kit looks amazing, and quality isn’t compromised with this brand, I feel the rs will be there best seller

Just got my first 2019 kites in from Peter and the boys. They're rock solid looking. Really surprised at the Process board, that's complete package at sensible old school money.
