Where is best to stay? I'm after cheap but classy ;-) as such i was thinking of the campsite at hale, does this do static caravans? and is this centrally placed to take advantage of possible venue changes or is the venue pretty much fixed?

Hi Stubbie, we've booked a caravan at Atlantic Coast caravan park at Gwithians. They're open for statics but not tents. We've paid for a four night break which was about £160 for six of us. http://www.atlanticcoast-caravanpark.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Spoke to the Sandsifter who are cool.... as always !!

No worries for people to camp/ vans in their grass car park for the pub( And it's free!), close to all entertainment and the beach....... plus you can get home on all 4's(if you so wish) after the Saturday nite Paaaaaaaaaaaartay !!

Hope this helps !

Far too early to be looking at the forecast but what wind directions and strengh should I get excited about? For sure cross-off would be best for waveriding but do the beaches work in cross-off winds? By the way it will be windy that's a done deal!!!!

hello all!
some info for ya
ideal conditions for gwith is south - sw or ne
just trying to get permission to move up towards hayle as well if its sw - west wind and pumping swell
if its west or nw west and there is south coast swell then we will be moving to maza or maybe somewhere else
our aim is to get the best conditions possible with the biggest waves and cross off winds!

at the mo its looking pretty good on the forecast, swell isnt gonna be a prob as its pumping,we just all need to pray for nice southerly wind and 7m weather. something like thurs & fri just gone will do nicely!!!
see ya all down here
thurs looks good at the mo if anyones coming early

proper job
lee :lol:
and Rich is still after a sponsor if anyone knows a company that is able to put up cash or prizes at this late date? then get in touch with him
