is that meant to be a link Richard? - doesn't seem to do anything...

can anyone tell us:

what are the conditions normally like?

what wind directions work?

Rung up today about the clynefarm camping and discovered that you can't take camper vans, if anyone has any info on other camping/caravan sites that would be an alternative option (preferable not miles into the gower) then this would be most appreciated.

cheers, angus

Googling campsites in Swansea there seems to be one in Morriston just off the M4 to the north of Swansea called Riverside Caravan Park (01792 775587) - if its still there! The main road (A4067) near by will bring you straight down through Swansea to the Marina for the comps. The other's seem to be all out towards the Gower or much further inland. Hope that helps.

Stunning location and good facilities. Owner is a bit of an arse, but if you minimise interaction with him it's fine. Careful about speeding near the site, there's often a speed trap just 1 mile down the road in a lay-by. It will be about 25 mins drive to/from Swansea Bay. Take a good map as the roads on the Gower are a bit confusing.

Enjoy.
