British Kitesurfing Championships 2017

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

This was announced yesterday

After two successful years of UK kitesurfing competition events that saw Pro Men and Women, Juniors, Masters and Amateur Men and Women compete in highly contested (but mostly friendly and fun) freestyle competition, we're pleased to announce the provisional dates for the returning 2017 BKC tour.

Although still supporting the tour, Rou and Jim (IKSURF and Kiteworld magazine editors) will step back this year and Pro Men's competitor and Liquid Force UK rep Craig Smith will take the organisational reins for 2017 with support from the BKSA.

Three events will run as follows:
WESTWARD HO!: 27th & 28th May
HAYLING ISLAND (KITESURFING ARAMADA): 9th, 10th, 11th June
HUNSTANTON: 22nd & 23rd July

Attention Juniors! Look out for a new category: 'Advanced Juniors Under 18s', which is aimed to help rapidly develop the skills of the most progressive youngsters in the sport who are pushing their first handle-passes, landing blind and confidently unhooking.
Registration for all categories will open in the usual ways through Eventbrite via the BKSA website and the BKC Facebook page closer to the first event.

We look forward to seeing you all ripping soon!

Hi Tony,

Any news if they are intending to run a wave maters event too?
