There must be some sick in the head sad bas###ds around if they go to the trouble of making up a user name and try to make out the are Russ, It was bad enough having the original but luckily he dissapeared and now we have a impersonator. :roll:

Humberston beach we are in the most dangerous time of the year for the potential injuries to the general public especially children on two occasions today we were very lucky

One guy set-up right at the front of the public beach zone on launching his kite right over a family two adults and four children the kite dropped back just missing their heads

One inexperienced guy tried to do a trick too close to the beach crashed the kite on the beach where a child was playing she was between the lines god knows what would have happened luckily my wife (kitesurfer) caught the kite and stopped it from flying up

Both of them were visitors to the beach but for gods sake use some common sense

As agreed with the council which allowed us the Cleethorpes Kitesurfing Club to have a designated kitesurfing zone on this beach

Do not rig up your kites in the public zone especially when we are in the holiday season

Thank you for reading this and stay safe

Really simple just use commonsense if there is a lot of people on the beach go to the left side of the beach...

Hi guys... just wanted to drop you a quick line... I'm the local Surfers Against Sewage rep for Lincolnshire, I know a handful of the local guys but I surf so generally stay out out of your way down near mablethorpe.

Out of season the water at the fitties is currently failing water standards testing, we've been talking with the Environmental Agency and Anglia Water as we want improvements all over the Lincs coastline. Currently AW turn off the UV treatment out of season, hence the nasties getting into the water. The EA have asked us fill in a questionnaire, the more returned forms the better and the more likely we are to get clean water.

not sure how to add the form here but if you wanted to email me and I'll respond by sending it back to you, my email is chris@iluvsoul.com or give me a call on 07534719007

Another note which may be useful to you guys is SAS have set up a text service that alerts you when sewage is discharging, it's happened 3 times at Cleethorpes in May already this year so worth signing up so you know when not to swallow the water!

http://www.sas.org.uk/campaigns/sewage- ... t-service/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cheers... and feel free to drop me a line if you have and questions!

Chris.

We get this every year on this forum from sas. So we all fill forms out then hear nothing(apart from email about joining the sas) Till a year later when you want us to fill forms out again. Just seems like you phishing for email to me(hope im wrong)
Would be good to see whats actually been done for us in the Cleethorpes area and if this is true why has Cleethorpes been awarded a blue flag status.
Thanks
