Interesting survey carried out by Kite Mag, posing the question what will your next kite be to those contemplating a new rather than second hand kite.

The New XR4 gets a 2nd colour option - black

Following on the news of the Pump 2 which is a nice development with the switchable valve system sand trap and ergo design.

Lots to see on the core site and the pumps are here in stock.

A new board, the Fusion 2 should be with us end of the week. One board to do it all..

Back in stock with Pump2's after the initial surge and sell out.

Definitely worth buying they certainly save effort, and your back.

Two New Kites, a C and a wave, two new boards, the F2 and a rail grinder, Core is stepping up.. Quality obviously pays.

XR4's in black quickly sold out and will be out of stock til mid August, white/yellows still available.

This is definitely the brand to watch right now, growing like Topsy.

So got out on my new 6m Section today, have been on Airush Waves last 3 yrs the 9/7/5m which have been fantastic and longest I've been on any type of kite in 16yrs, however fancied a change and wanted to reduce my quiver to just 8&6m as I only bother if it's blowing.

Did video today's session at Camber in great waves, but after excitedly downloading it, it appears that the shock of my first strapless jump caused the helmet camera to drop, so lots of great footage of my feet!

Anyhow, the kite construction is first class, lots of innovative features, including adjustment at bridal and wingtip points and the inflation point where you connect the hose straight in, no attachments.

Left it on the stock settings today, looks great in the air, with a narrower profile than my old Waves. Went up wind well and it's powerful, obviously still trying to get it dialled but it turned on the waves great and I got lots of great bottom and top turns (shame about the video), riding toe side a few times pretty fast downwind it drifted well and never felt like dropping. I crashed it once going over the falls and it popped straight up.

On the standard setting its not as quick in the turn as the Waves, but still cranks round fast and you can pivot it or use a more powered swoop. I was on 23m lines today and the wind was low 20's to high 30's, I've now adjusted the bridal and wing tips to the fastest settings so keen to see how much quicker that makes the turns. I also think for waves it's one of those kites that would suit 20m lines.

Overall pretty pleased with my first session, will report back, hopefully with video on my next few sessions, on this and my 8m Section.

Well it's been a while since I posted here and lots of stuff has happened, another couple of new kites and the new bar which is definitely worth a look. New ceramic bearings, coated depower rope to prevent wear and the bearings are that smooth it almost untwists itself.

Both the Free and the GTS4 are very exciting, but sadly even prior to Brexit we're facing increased costs due to the weakenss of the Euro's purchasing power against the USD so raw materials have gone up and along with it prices, about a kite size jump.

Very nice kites, build quality beyond ANYTHING I've seen before.
I've been trying out the gts4 12 & 9m and the Free 9m.
They are like high end sports cars and with that I'm super excited to be coming onboard. Can't wait

Spring 2018 Update, we now have another superb addition to the line in the new Nexus which is a one kite does it all for the improver I'd say as a way to describe what has turned out to be a bit of an unexpected replacement for the Free kite.
There's stacks of info online now and most of it pretty accurate, the kite gives wave guys more lift without sacrificing drift, which helps foilers tacking up wind, which smooths the surge in loops and makes certain tricks more attainable to would be freestyle and unhooked riders, so something for everyone.
The XR5 continues to enjoy massive take up from Woo-ers wanting to beat their personal best heights and the Fusion board matches that task with it's pop. There's a couple of reviews in iksurf this month Here and Here.

I've ticked the little notify me of replies box if anyone has any questions, other than that, as a brand Core is growing quite well here in the UK now despite all the Brexit induced pricing issues. All I'll say to that is the kites and bars genuinely are worth a little more than the norm due to the raw material quality, 60% of which is sourced in Germany rather than the far east, so they will be worth more further down the line and shouldn't deteriorate as quickly either.

It still is a small brand totally rider owned and staffed and as such doesn't always deliver that quickly and we all thank all of our customers for their patience.
