Hi Folks
I am new to this site and new to the world of kite surfing or Traction kiting. I live in Eastbourne and would like to know where the best places are to go and get my kite flying to learn on grass first.
PS
I am 47 yrs old so a late starter
Cheers

Few guys head up to Beachy Head and there are a good bunch of guys that meet up for the water around the area, including a few older boys (early 50's) and a few newbies. Feel free to get in touch

Hello eastbourners,

I moved to Hampden Park a few month ago and want to know where I can go for kitesurfing locally so I don't have to drive all the way to Lancing or Goring which were my usual spots. Pevensey Bay, Normans Bay and Cooden Beach came up a few times in my search but Beachy Head would be even easier to get to. What's it like there? What wind/tide are good for sessions and how likely are there to be people when the conditions are right?

Cheers

I was out in Newhaven about a week ago (Tidemills), but not sure that was me. Drop me an email if you want to meet up on the beach
