Suicide set up, now bindings?
Maybe you didnt quite explain yourself in your post about riding suicide. If youre riding the way you say you are, theres no need to change the topic, just try and explain it a little better to get the advice your after.
90% Of the people on here are helpfull, but if you start off on the wrong foot, youre in for a shit ride

well bugger me the forum police are out this evening!

i didnt see the original post so it doesnt bother me what was said, so in reply something from liquid force should do the trick, escalades, synergy, unions that kind of thing. the cabrinha boys seem to rate the ronix stuff but i think that is a hook up between the brands more than anything, what board are they going on?

You got it James. Dont bother with PB floyds though. Well 08 ones anyway. I'm not keen on unions, bit like jelly shoes with no support.
Ronix is by far the best your gunna get.

yan at risk of bursting your bubble the haze will take bindings the liquid force boots with the pro plate, you will need to drill it though, but the haze wont be the best bet due to it being so softand being pretty small and narrow, how heavy are you by the way?

Putting them on a 128cm board is not gonna work unless you weight about 7 stone.
You need to ride a big board to be able to do anything with bindings, I put my escalades on my 135cm concept but i'm going to order a 139cm as i found the 135 too small.
I have a set of Escalades for sale if you want for £100 posted i'm gonna get a 139/Synergy setup.
Unions are ok to start with and you don't have to bother with laces which makes them alot easier to get on.

I'm thinking about going down the binding route, what implications do bindings bring to the table?

I'm happy with Escalades. Went for size US 9-10 (= UK 8-9) for my size 7 feet. It's reasonably easy to get into and out of and hold seems good.

I stuck them on the board I was using for straps (Underground FLX132) to try them out. I find the size is OK but will be switching to something a bit larger with more rocker when my fcuked knee has healed. You existing board might not be ideal but you might as well try it before buying a new board too.

There is a bit fo a minefiled around 6", 6.5" and 8" insert spreads. The general solution is to get the drill out and modify the mounting plate on the bindings.

http://www.kitescoop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is where you want to be to ask about bindings. As people have said, if you have to ask too many questions, maybe you're not quite ready yet.
