Did anyone read this?
A few months old, but the bible of foil testing - we rode a few last year and pretty much agreed. The French have been at it a while..

It is a shame the Moses Hydrofoils are missing from the above but here is good write up of the Moses Silente Hydrofoil and T40 Hydrofoil Kiteboard: http://www.iksurfmag.com/reviews/boards ... ente-2016/

It pretty much sums up what everyone that rides it is saying.

Hopefully the Moses Vorace in both Freerace and Competition wing formats will be reviewed in the next issue.

I saw a press release yesterday from F-one
Four foils in there range now, starting with an entry level aluminum mast up to a full carbon race model
Not sure what they've done with the boards!

Looks like some good priced used foils coming onto the second hand market, the Sroka that Dedalus has for sale has a good reputation

So who's trying it this year?

Second hand north jobby in the shed waiting! Just need to sort some of the fixings out as swear what I've brought it with is wrong!

If any one reading has a photo of the mast to board bolts would be most greatful

We are expecting the very rare Vorace board to be back in stock early May

That is what it came with but doesn't make sense, looks like a Tuttle box which would be dome head as csk would stress the glass as t it's flat with no cup for the csk

I have similar system with my Spotz 2 and Temavento board. Bought some Kiteboard fin fittings from eBay which are Aluminium penny washer size with chamfered edges and recess inside for the countersunk machine screw heads. Have seen others with stainless equivalent. I've also used some thin foam as a compressible soft washer between carbon board and the fitting.
Your local shop might even have them in stock.

What foil set up should I get? Have been browsing on line and found all of the following for around the 1k mark.

Zeeko (under 1k)
Sroka
Moses T20

Personally I think I prefer the idea of a plate mounted foil over a box type. Apart from videos, I've never seen a foil up close or anyone on a foil except for Steph Bridge and she disapeared upwind out of site pretty quickly. Shops don't seem to actually have them in store so it's on line I'm afraid.
