James. Have you logged into the GPS site before? - If not don't think it will work - need to ask Davo on that one
But I will try, need the data and kite size, fin size
It’s a pig first time as you will have to manually in put it

Will pm you my e-mail

Bloody shame its funny it seems to be a southern thing not to log in and post times good or bad it’s just for fun after all and its Free

Hope Davo has Al’s times to add
There were more who did Weymouth as well, but have not logged it

James did you get your board sorted?

ADD SESSION
Adding sessions has never been as easy as it is right now. With the latest software programs you can automatically upload the data to http://www.gps-kitesurfing.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . The data from the SD card is automatically checked. The software programs check if the acceleration is correct, if enough Satellites were receiving the signal etc.

When you use the automated upload functionality all you have to do is log in, add gear and comments and push the send button. It won’t get any easier than this.

If you want to upload the data manually you need to check if data is shown in Doppler. All new devices should be posted in Doppler. Doppler will give a more precise and mostly lower speed than non Doppler data. In order to get a consistent ranking you need to post Doppler. Posted speeds can and will be checked by our timekeepers on a regular base.

In order to be able to post a session first you need to log in. You can find the log in button under the My GPS drop down menu.

The first time you want to post a session you need to fill in the gear you own and the spots you are sailing, you also have to fill in “my profile”. You can add or delete the gear anytime you like to keep everything updated. Now you’re ready to start adding sessions.

Like said, automated uploading or manual uploading are both possible. Go to my sessions and choose automatic or manual add sessions. Fill in all requested data and add comments if you want. Push the send button and your session will be shown in the daily ranking on the right side of the menu.

Sometimes your session will be verified by a timekeeper. The first time you post a session and every time you sail a personal best your session will have to be validated before it appears in the overall rankings.

Slightly off topic here, but I saw in Kiteworld mag that Rob Douglas wasn't invited to the Luderitz speed comp in 2011, why is that? anyone know?

I don't doubt that Rob in a great rider, but he comes across in all the vids I have seen of him as a massive douchbag... so very VERY american. Now, I don't know him and have never met him so I am purely making that judgement on how he comes across, is this why he wasn't invited back?

No one was invited last year apart from Seb and a few of his mates as its a new trench and they wanted to try it out before getting all the big names in. Personally I think it was Seb just been a slimy french f##cker and trying to get the record by default as there was no one there good enough.

Rob is a top bloke and the most professional speed rider I have met but he can be very American at times which might put people off, but he did have his own event in the good old USA and all the other top speed guys went to that instead and it looked like a good event to go too, I'm hoping that he does it again I might go If I can get a invite if not it will have to be back to Luderitz.

i think a team GB for the next NASSI event should be on the cards.

massive douchebag or fastest, most prepared and professional in competition,I think it often is one and the same, it just depends on what side of the fence you are sitting, what he has done has been incredible.

I would seriously rather spend money on attending a NASSI event than do Weymouth again.
C'mon Davo use your contacts and get an invite for a GB team.

I reckon Weymouth cost me £400 ish so would be happy to triple it for a decent trip and event. How's the snow holiday going Dave?
