Hello all,

Just a quick message to say hello and introduce myself!

I've just started kite surfing after having a few lessons with Gary down at NWKS at Walney Island, Barrow (He's a great instructor and I would highly recommend him to new and experienced surfers) I'm getting to grips with board starts and then landing head first back into the surf, but loving it!

I live near Whitehaven in Cumbria so I will be around St Bees (not the best place to learn, I think), Silloth, Allonby and any other place you can recommend?

If you see me out please come say hi, and if you have any tips or advice I'll happily listen and learn. I'm on a 13m white and black 2009 Best Waroo and an Airrush Switch board, I drive a red and white T reg Landrover defender TD5, so hopefully easy to spot.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi, I am also a new surfer from down by Millom, again looking for good recommendations. Also it would be good to meet up with some other local surfers and go out when the weather is good. I am at a similar stage to yorkie.
