Can anyone provide info on Isle of wight?
Which beaches, which wind directions, etc.

It's an island off the south coast, I think the white bit describes the population rather than the landscape. As it's ickle and round you can quickly get to a useable beach no matter what the wind direction is. Official language is English and they accept Sterling in most of the shops and restaurants.

Maybe in Adebo's magic car which always got to Lancing faster than mine... But bear in mind mostly single carriageways, lots of biddies, and a road plan that often takes you in then out again means it isn't as quick as all that... Still very doable though.
