Hi there, thinking more and more about getting Laser surgery. There are times when out kiting and what have you that I get fed up with glasses.

Thought about contacts but astigmatism in one eye was not helping much. Just wondered how many of you have opted for the Laser?

I am fairly short sighted, haven't the prescription to hand right now. Was wondering how you felt about the procedure and how things have improved for you since, and any recommended eye surgery places.

I get to go to the UK on a regular basis and can be there for up to weeks at a time. Just think its about time to bite the bullet:)

A friend of mine had it done when it first came out and never seen him use glasses again but I will say that in certain light conditions he said he had like white spots on his eyes that only he could see but apart from that perfect, I'm sure the technology has gotten better since.

I had mine done here years ago:

Best investment I ever made. Made all sport so much more enjoyable, could suddenly see set waves coming in as well which helps.
At the time there were a few horror stories about high street places so went to mda on recommendation, the surgeon is great and really knows his stuff. I think high street places have got better since and may be a bit cheaper.
