I've been asked to give a bit more info on the event - so here goes :-D

You can find the event website at http://www.lifestylesfestival.co.uk

Register online for the kite events at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/dong-ene ... 2972624469 the deadline is 23.30 this evening - apologies for the short notice but confirmation of sponsorship for the kite events was only confirmed at the last minute

Those who've been before will know the score - but for any newcomers - as competitors you will have access to Hunstanton Sailing Club (http://www.hunstantonsc.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and effectively be temporary members for the weekend. This means you can use the club as a base to hang-out / watch TV, use the free wifi, changing rooms, hot showers etc. Registration is on Saturday morning 07.30 - 08.30 followed by a riders briefing. Free bacon rolls, cereal, fruit juice, tea and coffee will be available at registration for riders and BKSA crew :-D

Unfortunately due to the huge amount of stuff going on this year - there's no designated parking for competitors on the prom. Your best option for getting parked close to the water are the pay and display car parks adjacent to the Oasis Leisure Centre and the Waterside pub or the large one at the back of Hunstanton Watersports. If for some reason you can't get in there - you can temporarily drop your gear on the green at the top of the club access road where it will be supervised by a marshall while you find a parking spot elsewhere. Of course if you're in a VW you can join in the Vdub show and park on the green for free :-D

The forecast is looking promising, particularly for sunday when low tide is 12.15 and a northerly would be cross-shore from the right.

Among the other activities going on over the weekend are:

FRIDAY:

School workshops in skateboarding, climbing, kiting, SUP, windsurfing, DJ workshops, streetdance workshops

Live music line-up:

24 Robbers

Shock Hazard
Work Unit
