lost speed board at Hunstanton

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

The gods aligned yesterday to give some of the best speed sailing conditions I have seen for a long time.
On the second run I wiped out at 43 knots but after a kite loop and too much skimming I never saw my board again with strong tides and to big a kite.
The conditions where just to good and even on a very beet up twintip that i went back out on looking for the board I still managed to get a peek of over 41 knots.

If anyone hears of a funny looking board with a bright green lead wieght in front of the front footstrap I would be eternally grateful as this is the fastest board in the Uk clocking 52knots last year.

Is that the board I had a go on when you were at Southend?

I knew it would turn up eventually http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262033877669

Apparently he's selling it for a friend who's going to south africa.

I have contacted the seller offering a finders fee but in the mean time can people not bid on it.

Hi Dave - dunno if it helps but been through this scenario before and if someone finds a board it's legally classed as 'lost property' and the finder should hand it in to the nearest police station or prove they've made reasonable attempts to re-unite it with its owner…

hope you get it back ok

Just picked the board up from the guy he reckoned he had checked out some kite forums looking for the owner but was very good about it so I gave him a tenna for his troubles :-)

Glad you got it back.
At least he saw the errors of his way and did the right thing.
