Have any non riders used the above kite yet? As a user of the Vegas for many years Im a bit concerned that Hadlow may have over designed it for mere mortals like myself. It has a bit of a look like an old Ion kite that was slow and cumbersome

Flexifoil Ion :? Looks more like the Naish Torch, C with rounded tips, if so should be awesome.

To be fair, Hadlow is the best rider in the world, they might as well copy the Torch, the best C kite out there

I have a had short session one, it is pretty different from the older 2014/13's kites. Tips are huge now, I did have it on the wake style bar so difficult to really compare but it did feel slower, I did a couple of backloop kite loops on it and it drives through loop much harder. Feels like it has less depower too..

It did have the old Vegas feel through the bar but just hardcored up quiet considerably. i would like to try it on a normal bar...

Not that I ride any new north kites but I thought the Vegas was getting made more hardcore and the new dice was going to step up to fill the hole left by the Vegas going all hadlow'fied?

Did you have the kite set up in the most wakestyle setting too? From the blurb I read, North were quite keen to emphasise that the kite in factory settings would feel 'like a Vegas'. I'm another Vegas owner keen for it to not go wakestyle only :(

I cant really remember the settings it is was on. I do remember the rear pig tails in the middle of the kite and think the front was also the mid settings. It wouldn't be fair to judge the kite on a 20 minute session on a super small wakestyle bar. I did struggle a little with it a little bit to be honest. I cant do handle passes but on the couple of raily's I did you could feel the massive amount of slack before the kite started pulling super hard again...

Really need to longer a session on the standard bar to judge properly.

Paulie had it on wakestyle bar. On the oridinary high Y bar its the very same old 2014 and 2013 vegas. Maybe a bit slower.

I crashed it a few times trying to get to grips with the slower turning and wake style bar. Relaunch was slightly worse but not by much!
