Re: Pump adapters

What kite is it for? I'm sure someone on here will be able to find a spare one for you.

Re: Car Keys...

I use a skeletal key (for a VW T5) and have had no problems with it. I've a better waterproof solution, but it might not be for everyone. I had a NFC chip implanted into my hand. It currently only unlocks my garage and my PC at work, but I plan to do my van too when I get the time.

Re: Kite Bags (the ones they come in)

I've mostly been happy with my kite bags, with one exception. Please - no metal zips! I take good care of my kit but still after one year they corrode shut and then break off.

Oops. Just noticed I gave pretty much the same reply to two of your posts. How rude of me.

Re: Kitesurfing for Kids

Of you want a 112cm Underground FLX then let me know. It was specially made as a kids' board. I bought it when my wife was learning and struggling to hold an edge. I've used it twice and it's great fun in high winds too.

Re: Quadcopter Kitesurf Session

This might be worth a read if using a quad near the water.

Re: Looking for a big kite 20m2

If a 16m Cabrinha Switchblade 2 (2007) is big enough then PM me. Only ever used twice so perfect condition. Kite only or could include bar (which has been used more). I just don't bother with light winds these days so a sensible offer will get it.

Re: Trying wake boots

I never did it was suitable, just that if someone wants to work out if they like riding in boots then a few sensible easy sessions won't snap a board in half. Then you can go spend more money on the right board. Freestyle boards don't have an ideal rocker line either but that won't stop you giving i...

Re: Trying wake boots

You won't bugger up a freestyle board just trying boots to see if they're your thing. You may however find it tricky lining up the mounting holes.

Re: Mice have been eating my car.

A friend of a friend had an Audi R8 that was suffering from an odd crunching sound when he released the handbrake off. It turned out that over the winter a mouse had stashed hundreds of dog biscuits under the carpet. I had a link to a video of it, but it seems the link's dead.

Re: Surf Confidence Course (Kitesurf specific course)

This course sounds like a great idea, and something more kiters should probably do. If I was down your way I'd definitely be on it. I'd be interested to hear how it went from some of the attendees. I remember reading (from Kirsty Jones I think) that the trouble with kites in surf is that they make i...

Re: Hot wax bath for chicken ropes.

I tried that once. So much sand stuck to it that it was unusable. I then spent ages trying to get the wax off the rope. I just used candle wax so maybe your concoction will work a bit better.

Re: POSSIBLE fraud

Sorry to hear you've been conned. I hope you get things sorted somehow. I know it doesn't help you at all, but I've got one tip when buying something reasonably valuable. Offer to meet up near them and pay cash - even if it's too far away. If they say "OK" then just say you've decided it's...
