Thanks for the advice. I am using the liquid force hydrofoil which is aluminium, think the bolts might be steel.#ed wrote:Tef gel is best (opinion), Silcon grease is fine. Ptfe based should be fine too. My assumption is you're using stainless in aluminium or alloy of?

Grease for Hydrofoil
I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the best grease for a metal hydrofoil mast to stop the bolts welding to the mast. I have purchased some silicon grease which I have read can be used to stop corrosion. Does anyone know if the Universal PTFE grease is more suitable?

Dont really konw Ant Baker except for speaking him on the beach a couple of times. I have always wondered why so many people seem to dislike him. Recently came across this article about him in a local newspaper: http://www.worthingherald.co.uk/news/newly-elected-tory-councillor-suspended-from-party-...

Re: Can you campervan overnight at Greatstone Beach carparks?
Probably not a lot of places close carp arks over night to stop people doing just that and local residents might call police and report vans left overnight. Best off just stayin in a side road nearby away from residential property

Hydrofoil Line Wrap
One of my experiences of learning hydrofoiling has been getting my lines wrapped about the hydrofoil. In this situation the safety is totally useless and is one of the reasons why I dont intend on hydrofoiling in strong winds! My solution to this was to basically totally release from the bar and the...

Re: Kitefoiling spots in south east
Shoreham is pretty good - especially if you are learning. Not too busy, you can foil and low tide and there are no groynes to worry about. There are also a few other foilers down there so you are not likely to be alone in light winds.

Hydrofoils - An initial review
I purchased a Liquid Force Rocket Fish Hydrofoil at the Armarda after getting a great deal from S2AS and Liquid Force. As a pretty average rider I thought I would give a short review of my initial experience of it after 1 session . After my first session I can ride along and engage the foil (althoug...

Is lancing still pretty busy ? Are many people foiling in the light wind days ? Tim lancing still pretty busy. There are a...

Re: GCSE DT Questionaire
OK, couple of questions If you're going to make a kiteboard for yourself, then why are there questions to how much I want to pay for a board? what size do I need? I thought it would be about the board you wanted, not the one I want. What point am I missing except for a fictitious survey monkey ? So...
