Re: Kite Construction
So if kites are genuinely bombproof then groynes, bushes and broken pieces of shell should be considered weapons of mass destruction.

Kite Construction
Hi All,
I've been researching a new quiver for 2017 and was wondering what type of construction to go for. Some brands are advertising bomb-proof construction while others just bullet-proof. Is there actually any difference between the two types? Does it actually matter?
Many Thanks

I have a massive issue with 'Kite Camp' April 2nd banner at the top of this page. Not all homosexual men are effeminate. I for one won't be attending!!!

Re: protect your kite -special offer for forum members
I was just about to complete the checkout on two units when I had a worrying thought, something so fundamental that it wasn't answered in the FAQs.
Do these covers change the flight characteristics of the kite and will they make water re-launching more difficult?

Re: Kitesurf Armarda going ahead in Offshore winds
From the International Kiteriders Association Instructor Handbook - 5thEd Addendum "Following debate at the 2012 summit it was concluded that 'Offshore' is in fact a matter of perspective and that the majority of students will at some point come across land, thus rendering the wind 'Onshore'. If the...

Re: Car Keys...
I use a skeletal key (for a VW T5) and have had no problems with it. I've a better waterproof solution, but it might not be for everyone. I had a NFC chip implanted into my hand. It currently only unlocks my garage and my PC at work, but I plan to do my van too when I get the time. https://0xfred.w...

Re: REplace a single line of re splice ?
Hi Cypher, I would suggest cutting down all four lines. If he's left with lines that are following visual inspection are in good condition, then its no big deal, might even find kiting more fun if he takes them down towards 20m! I wouldn't bother with splicing, just buy a sleeving kit and knot, they...

Re: One for Waverider!
I'm convinced I disturbed a few of these last night coming in from a paddle. Warm shallow water, sandy floor. Was so paranoid having been tormented by waverider's posts for many years. Decided to use the SUP paddle as a weaver?? mine detector, and I could see them darting off.
