Re: Enough to make your eyes water.

Has weight ever been a issue when your using kites to get you in the air What do You mean? Weight is precisely the issue. If it wasn't for the weight I'd be jumping 2 piers in one take with my skills. It's the lager that holds me down. And a man's got to have a drink so buying a lighter board seems...

Re: Water Quality

You boys need to man up. Vodka works far better and does the trick if you kite in Egypt as well. Bottle of coke would only make you an easy target for anti-westerners up there.
Not to mention its 'fear nothing' qualities :-D

Re: 2014 tide tables for Camber

Try this

http://www.tidetimes.org.uk/tidetables#axzz2pHPVxScj

It costs less than most pubs charge for half pint

Ps. They don't do Camber but Dungeness is close enough. I'm sure if You pay a bit more could have it as custom spot.

Nobile does one. Bit pricey at £799.00 but if as good as standard Nhp it might be actually worth it

Jaws in Camber.
It looks tight between drop in the wind strength and high tide/dark. Anyway death or glory.

Some people do not release because they wait too long, sometimes there's no time (you don't see it coming). Either or, you take a hit. Sounds like he was a top man. Loved the bit where he warned someone to stay close coz' there's a big shark further out... Rest in Peace Bro'. Looks like there are a ...

Re: When did that happen???

It's not the 5th line that You have to worry about with Evos. It is that You need to purchase a tube of Vaseline to feed the new depower rope through the velcro bit. Ps. Gotta say that GRF's complete disregard to PR and marketing is something... really attractive. Just made my mind up - next kite - ...

Re: Newbie: two dead weekends in a row - ..really?

Patience is something Ya'll learn if wanna kitesurf and be good at it. Trust me, we do wait more than a month for that day sometimes but when it's on, it is On big time and then You're out like there's no tomorrow... Southend is the spot You need to consider (and learn its tides). You'll like it at ...

Re: How can you teach kitesurfing in 30mph winds?

I'm sure you cannot learn board starts in the conditions we had last Saturday but I'm sure you can learn respect for the power of the wind after a few controlled spanks on a 4-5m kite. Having that experience is far better than learning in 20mph winds and then turning up on your own at the beach afte...
