The GTS4 is a lovely looking bit of kit. I'd love to have a bash on one. Sounds like it'd be comparable to a Cabrinha FX I'd guess.

Re: BKSA Membership/insurance

why do I need insurance? If I need insurance for this do I need it to play Frisbee on the beach? Is this a wind up. On the flip side - what if someone ran over you on their kiteboard, rendering you unable to walk properly for the next 10 years - would you be expecting some sort of compo? You'd prob...

Re: BKSA Membership/insurance

I signed for http://www.hka.org.uk/ this time around, after years of BKSA - just because it's cheaper and appears to have the same terms - and because the BKSA website and access to your account was a pain in the butt.

Rip curl hooded flash bomb 6/4. Best suit I have ever owned by miles and I will definitely be buying the same again if I ever wear this one out.

You're welcome to try mine if you like - Hadlow 138. I've also used the Xride you mention, and it was a really nice feeling ...

Some nice sections on this vid - and undoubtably the worlds longest dark slide (shame about the dunk at the end). Enjoyed that.

Re: If you like surfboards

What's with all those spot deck pads? Wouldn't it have been better/ prettier/ less of a trip hazard, to opt for 1 larger one?

Also - what's going on with the screw holes for the rear fin??

Lovely looking board, and an amazing price for a custom bit of kit like that. Good work = )

Re: Good winter gloves?

I very nearly invented the best winter gloves I have ever worn - I'd just had a few too many beers at the time of creation. They area still damn good though. Last winter I bougt a pair of THESE - Billabong 5mm lobster claw mitts. Sadly they caused unbearable arm pump after about 2 minutes use - so w...
