WARNING

It looks to me like pjb is just a trouble maker who was looking for a fight right from the start. He has been offered a solution time and time again but he would rather stand on his soapbox and cause unnecessary stress to someone who everyone else seems to agree is a good bloke.

WARNING

Pjb, they have offered to meet you and give you the information you want. Why don't you take them up on that offer and then if you want to you can quote any documents and/or verbal information on here for all to see? Not that anyone else seems interested in your personal crusade against this poor gu...

What happens with S2AS?

Is the difference because of exchange rate or because they refunded the wrong amount? Either way they definitely haven't treated you very well :(

EBAY SPECIAL - settle and argument for me!

I would say the amount paid is entirely irrelevant.... It should be as described and if you're sure it's not then a refund should be given. You should not be out of pocket due to someone else being economical with the truth.

kitesurfing loch ness

Yes you can kitesurf there. Access laws in Scotland are much better than down south so as long as you're responsible you can pretty much go anywhere.

If you head over to http://www.kitehighland.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you'll find some folk who have kitesurfed there.

Re: Diffrent fins?????

Inital Take off - is called a water start dumbass Superman.... I tend to read a lot and post very little and feel I have learnt a lot by spending time on kiteboarder. There are a number of members who post a lot and seem to give sound advice and are supportive of others. I guess now I'll go elsewhe...

Re: Fancy becoming a qualified instructor?

The British Mountaineering Council have a fast track package also though it does take a bit longer than 8 weeks. The BMC package goes something like you undertake a training week to learn the basic skills, then you go away for a period of time to practice and log these skills (at least 6mths I thin...

Re: Insurance... who does *not* have it?

an estimated 8,000-10,000 kitesurfers in the UK, there are however only 4,000 BKSA members and (I guess?) less BPKA members. That is a large proportion of uninsured kitesurfers. Is it? There are lots of other ways to be insured. I used to be with the SPKA but now have a policy with an insurance com...

Re: Flexi Atom

Self landing the Atom is a piece of pi55, bury the nose of your board in sand or shingle so it's pointing to where your kite will sit at the edge of the window. Still being hooked in release the leash from your harness and pass it through the footstrap nearest the buried nose of your board and atta...

Re: Snowkiting harness

Ozone have done a new harness this year http://www.powerkiteshop.com/accessories/ozoneaccessxcharness.htm I got one of these a while back (the version with the spreader bar) and I wasn't very impressed.... The sizing says 'fits up to 50" ' but it doesn't mention that it doesn't go all that small. M...

Re: self launch a 4 line c kite

blow the sand holding it down off, and start to swing downwind. At this point take a few steps towards the kite and it'll flip over onto its back and take off, like a water re-launch. Helps to give it a bit of 5th line tension also. This is indeed the way to self launch c kites with out a weight, I...

Re: staying fit for unhooked riding

He he he..... I am a girl, but of course I can't prove that here! Then again I guess Kev can't prove he's not a girl either

Thanks for the email address Lewis, will be good to be able to get opinions from other girls who kitesurf, I'm always the only one round here!
