You can stretch the hamstring by stretching the quad.

Do basic split leg hamstring stretch, so legs apart past shoulder width, see how far down you can reach.
Perform quad stretches several on each leg.
Repeat Step 1, you'll be surprised to see how much further you can reach.

Re: North Kiteboarding Click Bar - The Gamechanger!

Sorry bud but completely disagree. Change ha, do you know what the industry could do with changing, is licensing IP across the industry for bars so tooling up for niche products for small runs didn't put unit costs for product that used to cost around £150 is now in the region of £500. I can remembe...

Re: North Kiteboarding Click Bar - The Gamechanger!

Yeah bang on. launch kite on any day never mind if its super windy and realise you need to trim the kite in and grab the end of the bar is recipe for disaster. Salt is gona take care of any moving parts on the bar so can imagine a system that grinds to a halt after a decent amount of use. As per the...

Re: Broken metatarsal

wife did it last year, non kiting. Advice was strap until reasonably ok, drops of wild vitamin D3 oil every day, rub vegetable oil in it every day and few drops of olive / nut oil every day. if using ibuprofen then flush out with shed loads of water.

Re: Crazy news about Ruben Lenten

Hopefully the insurance company will pick up the eventual cost. I seem to recall an English couple being stuck in the states and had to have their baby there. The insurance picked up the medical but it was the day to day expenses that added up, hence the fundraiser. despite the extraordinary goodwil...

I doubt you'll get all that in a bag under 30kg. Also Aus is v expensive. Repair kit, first aid kit including spray on plasters, duck tape is a must even if you buy it in New Zealand

Re: What would happen if you didn't buy a new kite?

Isn't this a case for shared IP on bars in the same way bike companies use shimano or compag for gears / brake components. Instead of every kite company tooling up to produce small volumes which keeps the price high.

Rhosneigr and my new site

I've just starting developing the site as a creative outlet for myself and the things I'm interested in writing about.

I've just written this about Rhosneigr if you want to take a look.

Re: Cumbuco with kids

Yeah that is a fairly horrific story. What sticks out to me about that place are the Trip Advisor reviews look mostly bogus with the amount of 1 review's it has. Also to get done like that on your first night smells of an inside job. Unfortunately Brazil does has a bit of form with these type of sce...

Re: What would happen if you didn't buy a new kite?

been kiting since 03/04 and have seen kite complete go from circa £750 to circa £1,400. Cost of new kit for whatever reasons is prohibitive for buying a new quiver (like I used to) year on year. Kite development moved considerably from C to Bow to Hybrid say through the Slingshot link, Rev, RPM but ...
