Re: wainman Hawaii UK Agent

Hi Chris and welcome! I am a F-One fan, however, love the construction and build quality of Wainman kites. Was going to get a 10.5 & 7.5 last year but never had a contact to demo these sizes. As I am a impatient man, I simply stuck to F-One. My local spot is CBK Hayling Island but have friends d...

Kiting with a surfboard for first time

Make sure you don't put your back foot all the way to the end of the traction pads tail kick (if you use one) or you will be going nowhere. I always ride with my b...

Re: Why do you leave kit at the beach ?

I have only done this once and cost me a new SS Compstick Bar! Was buzzing from a session and never stuck the bar in the bag doh! Never again. Now I do the 4 point check to myself - Kite, bar, pump and board. I only ever take my harness off once at the car. On 2 occasions I have forgotten to pack th...

New Shred Stick

New Surfboard arrived today, just in time for our trip to Croyde this weekend. Looking forward to riding this little beauty and will be using it for kiting too. Nothing beats the feel and weight of a PU/EPS core surfboard. Only flipside of the coin is they take a beating when kiting. I broke 2 in 6 ...

Re: HD capable editing software?

My recent GoPRO2 purchase has forced me to use the iMovie software on my iMac. A quick skim through the online manuals and I was able to put together my first little production: m (Great bit of software for my limited editing skills.) When your PC gets to tired and dated for your desktop southseasai...

Hmmm... Confused with F-One Volt 2

Just guessing here, but perhaps they ditched the mesh, simply because the wing tips profile are swept back/down which allows the water to drain naturally when on its wing tips??

north kite with cabrinha bar

Dude, seriously? You have already stated that you are a beginner. When learning you most definitely want a kite with good de-power, wind range and safety system. Unfortunately older kites do not posses any of these qualities, especially when coupled to a bar that is not specifically designed for thi...

Both of you should try on the Mystic Shadow (and yes, there is a male and female version), I just got one and find the fit really comfortable with more mobility than my Mystic Len10. Another plus is that it weighs next to nothing! The Len10 used to chaff me something chronic on my hips when in Board...

Re: Slingshot compstick mod

Thats your standard safety line . Of-course it is, Slingshot release to a single front that slides through the centre of the universe. What about the chicken loop, doesn't look like a Slingshot CL. Nope that is the standard CL for the Compstick bar Richard, its a push away safety. The Compsticks pr...
