Re: Crash erm need some help to understand why please

You don't say which way you were travelling before boosting, so it's hard to say - was it a forward or backward rotation that started?. I'm guessing that you were on a starboard tack (right foot forward), and started on an involuntary front rotation (which would be anticlockwise)? I'm also guessing ...

Re: relaunching using 5th line and gloved wet hands!

I nearly invented the ultimate pair of kiting gloves - except I'd had a few too many scoops and was a bit overzealous. I had a pair of 5mm lobster mitts - they were unwearable because of the insane arm pump they caused after about 2 minutes. I cut the palms out of them - and a good portion of the fi...

From what I saw, Mr Hadlow was performing like an absolute beast. Still my fave to win.

Re: The best kitesurf pump?

I can't comment on other pumps but I do have a newish Cabrinha one, and I particularly like it because it's so easy to dismantle and service. Maybe they are all like that now though.

Re: Kitesurf Magazine - issue 70 - £££

Ignore him dude. There's few enough threads on here as it is. A few reposts won't hurt anyone. Have you tried any other forums? I'm sure someone must have an aging pile of mags clogging up their shelves. Are you in it or something? To bump a post is simply to add another comment at the bottom, such ...

Re: Board leads

As someone who has recently progressed to intermediate, I can't recommend a GoJoe enough. I couldn't care less what anyone thinks; if I come off, I can spot my board from 200m, rather than 5m. You still have to learn to upwind bodydrag - which is a really fun, satisfying technique - but without wor...

Re: How to front roll nose grab with kiteloop...

One of the nicest looking moves there is. I'll be a happy man when I can go home post session with one of these in the bag. In fact, even just a few of the elements - nuclear/ seatbelt grab bit would be nice, as would the toeside takeoff, and kiteloop transition. Not had time to watch and digest it ...

Re: toby raw.. still thick, still a prick

Given that the buyer of it has a rating of zero, ie/ it was there 1st and only purchase, its quite possible he set up a blag ebay account to make a pretend sale. He'd have had to pay the Ebay fees, but it could have been used to give false security to the buyers of the only other 2 items that were s...

Great website and online setup all round dude. Good work!
The aardvark sounds a fun trick to try, and the progression thing works well.

Re: Self launching

Are you pulling plenty of depower on before leaving it? I personally self launch by setting up as normal, hooking in and walking round the edge of the window. Why don't you just do that, instead of using a stake - which you then either have to leave buried in the sand as a trip/ impact hazard, or fa...
