Re: 90Kg Rider - What conditions will need smaller than 8m kite?

It's very unlikely that either of these locations that you're 8m couldn't handle with a 90kg rider. I'd be happy taking nothing smaller than my 7 and I weigh 72kg. It should see you upto 35kts ok. Much more than that and you'd be better off in the bar anyway.

Re: What would happen if you didn't buy a new kite?

Well, my pal just bought 2 new 2015 kites for £1050 in the sales. Sold his old 2012s for £550. Total outlay for 2 new kites = £500.
Can't really complain at that every 3 years.

Re: Kitesurfing near Haf Y Mor Wales

Nearest spot is Aberech sands. 10 mins away. Go down the road that goes to Aberech sands camping/ caravan park. Park in the car park next to the train track. Walk through the path over the dunes which is at the end of the road. It can be great. Can be quite a lot of non kiters, so walk up the beach ...

Help, I'm in pain!

I get the same dude, and am fit as a butchers dog, with a decent 6 pack, and do millions of sit ups etc. it's worse after over powered boosting sessions on big kites, and after doing lots of raleys (wakeboarders call it raley belly). Sometimes if I lie on my back I can barely lift my head off the fl...

Re: Anyone in New Brighton this week?

Not many/ anyone flies land kites at New Brighton dude. Its just kitesurfing. Isn't the wind going to be blowing directly offshore today? Not sure you'll find anyone turning up for that. Next week's lookin' up though.

Have you tried: willmakinson@yahoo.co.uk That's certainly an email he used a few years ago, maybe he still does. He does have a facebook page (its the one with no photo), but it doesnt appear to have much info. It does however, show his list of friends - many of whom could be easily contacted pro ki...

Hadlow Board good to ride , not so good build wise, clothing good ,never been a fan of their kites (storm chaser was the exception) don't know about the company! least they had the balls to do the 50% off promos which is a lot more then most of the overpriced kit you see reviewed (yawn) in the kite...
