Dummy Dude's got a new board.

Nice looking set up, I'd go one of those.
But that adjustable strap stuff is not 'new'. Naish Apex's were doing that over 2 years ago. The core ones still look mighty nice though.

Re: Moving from Amsterdam to Liverpool where to kite?

You won't find a great wave spot nearby I'm afraid - you really need to go to north wales for that (Rhosneigr is a GREAT wave spot, but busy). You're nearest regular spots will be New Brighton, and Ainsdale (Ainsdale requires insurance and a permit).

Re: Kitesurfing Group Holidays?...

Theres 2 options I'd choose from at the moment - both mentioned above. I'd go on the blast clinic if I didn't want to spend too much, and to go away with a bunch of like minded kitesurfers for a brilliant trip with plenty of kitesurfing. I'd go with C&K if I was feeling flush, and wanted to progress...

After you have left the water, take your back hand off the bar. Keep looking over your back shoulder.

Re: Pain in my rib.

Did you take any good crashes prior to it starting that might have caused the rib displacement? Once a rib is displaced like that, by a single incident, I imagine it would then be a weak spot that could go more regularly.

Re: How to avoid being dropped like a stone on small kites

It helps a great deal if you keep the kite moving, rather than just leaving it sitting at 12. Give it a bit of wang left and right a few times and it will slow your descent a lot.

Why not return it again? If be interested in this too. I was thinking my next board might be one with a tuff base on it like a LF LFX.
