The Blast Frozen Jam '15

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

I'll be there both days - it's a good forecast, so if you have a roadtrip in mind this weekend, get on it - you have new toys to play with :-)

I'll have all the twins (a good few of the new monk lover edition), a fair selection of surfboards, a good few small kites, including my all time favourite the '15 VX 6m.
Think I'll be leaving the super light wind kit at home though, which is a nice change for a demo weekend.. :-0
Don't want to completely jinx it, but we should be in for a fun weekend!

Not a cloud in the sky here today and 20mph :-D

We've now got some sweet prizes for tomorrow but don't worry they are not simply just for the best guys, in fact quite the opposite!

I have a sector 54 with me - but I did leave the sector 60,
That said I have a 17 vantage and a 14 VX, so we should be covered.
tomorrow doesn't look too light...
possibly the better day of the two for trying kites.

Back up north, surprised to see so much snow on the road in the last 50 miles, but I will live at the top of North Yorkshire, so it serves me right!

Thanks so much to Marc and Sarah for the weekend, was great fun, and though we had some interesting weather (from barely 17m VXR weather to pulling the emergency release on a 7m) great fun was had by all. I distinctly remember the roar in the local pub when Wales scored their first tri on Sat night. Never heard noise like it - was hard work to keep my beer in it's glass ;-)

Sure Marc will be here with more media soon, but for now here are some pics from the lighter wind Sat session...

Cheers Mike,

Great to finally meet the man, the legend.

It truly was a shame the wind gods did not deliver what they had been promising all week but hey ho, we sure did make the most of what we had.

My weekend was saved by the Airush Sector board...amazing session saver and less $ than another kite too

In typical event fashion..it was classic here today :
wall to wall sunshine / 25-30mph cross shore / head high surf

Sarah was on the 7m Airush Diamond and lurrvvving it!
