This Forum... what's happened? It's like no ones home. Also the Core GTS4 any good?

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

Although due to work/kids I rarely kite anymore.....do a lot more mountain biking these days, less weather dependent.
Does that mean you've stopped hoarding the '07 Torches?
Was a time that it felt like I got pipped at the post every time an '07 came up for sale. Fantastic kites.

Not many around nowadays, getting back into it after a few years and had to settle for '13s. Still fantastic kites, but wonder how they compare back to back to the '07s.

Torches FFS not shining much light into the darkness that's clouding your good kite judgement really are they?

Hah, when you find a kite that flies exactly the way you want, why would you then chase after the next new thing?
Last year's kite is suddenly shite, but we nailed it this year.

Back in the day I got stung with a Turbo Diesel based on some marketing hype. Who was behind that? lol

No way a judgement on the GTS4, sure it's a great kite, the standard is pretty high nowadays; I'm happy with my Torches.

Nothing wrong with a Turbo Diesel at least the 14 I just sold recently and like happens so often, not been paid for it yet, but it taught lots of folk to kite in its time but it's time was 2006 that's ten years ago now and things have moved on a tad, Core hadn't even become established back then. They are a young company gaining market share in a really tough market so their stuff has to be noticeably better.

I've never flown a Torch but they're five line aren't they? Everyone knows only mental folk ride five lines and yes Core have a five line, I refuse to stock or sell it, nasty kites five liners..

Spot on.

I can see why you don't like Torches GRF, everyone who buys one never buys a new kite again, not much money to be made

Nothing to be scared of with 5th lines, still the only real safety system.....unless you count depower as a safety system? And then there's that 5th line feel - something that bridled kites are still trying to replicate.
