Hey all,

I am situated in Birmingham and hopefully will be travelling one or the other time (mainly on weekends) to the coast.
(I am new in the forum and introduced myself recently in the newbie-section)

It would be great to find someone who is interested in travel-sharing (or just meeting at the beach in general).

For the next weekend there might be an opportunity at the east-coast ... ?
(I am still confused because the uk-websites forecast different wind than the sites I normally use)

Hi, newbie here too!

Just got into kiting as a progression of wakeboarding, just need to get out on the water as much as poss!

Was down in Swansea a couple of weekends ago, very good there and not too much of a stressful trip!

Let me know of anyone is keen on arranging a session/ convoy to ride!

Cheers

Tommy

Pm'd you tom.

There doesn't seem to be many of us in the middle of the uk, but the few there are seem to be die hard kitersurfers and are trying to hook up and create a bit more of a community albeit a small one. I suppose the idea is to stick together, support the new guys to progress and keep our travel costs down, let's not forget the odd beer.

Orca-n is pretty close to me in brum for example and we did have designs on hooking up and hitting the coast. But not done it yet though.

I try to surf at least twice a month when work don't get in the way.

I'm still up for a lift share sometime. Arranging it seems to be another matter.
Am already sharing with one local mate when heading east and another when heading west. Maybe we need to buy a cheap minibus and start kitesurf trips from the W.Mids when the condition are good. Am in contact with Orca recently and Bret last year. Fingers crossed that the wind coincides with a free weekend sometime soon! Could be a squeeze with more than 2 in my car though! Even if I'm not sharing it would be good to be out together - Not always sure when travelling alone if anyone else will be out on the water
