Update on injured kite surfer

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

It happend on the sea front. I was upwind of the area when it happend but the conditions around the area where lightish with stronger gusts coming in now and then. From trying to find out what actually happend so far we do not know the exact facts, there are stories flying around but untill we know, whats important is this guy makes a good recovery.

But very importantly I want to finish with the key reason why I have been tracking this thread, that is to find out how the guy is doing since his accident.
I really (mean it!) hope the guy pull's through okay and does not have any serious long-term after effects from the accident.
I don't think I know him but my heart goes out to him and his family at this very difficult time.

Hi -

This is great, well done for taking the time and trouble, putting all the positive comments in a new and clean thread - keep it up!

I am not one for adding to threads that much, but I do read them from time to time, which is why I became aware of this accident & feeling the need to comment as I did earlier.

I totally agree let us not distract from the key reason a thread is started, avoid using it for someone (not to be mentioned) selfish use / point scoring.

Maybe we should make sure his family, if they have not already, get to see and know how much all us true guy's & gal's are hoping for a positive outcome.
At times like these I feel sure any family would appreciate, hopefully take strength, from all our genuine concern and hope everything turns out well.

I don't know why but this one has really got to me, we all take calculated risks I guess, but not easy for the family around that person when things happen.
